Joining the club gains players access to organized community play to choose to participate in structured leagues and tournaments or social ladder and play activities. Players aged 7+ will participate from home and engage safely in club activity through the Safe Harbor-certified platform GYO Score. Available games frequently rotate to keep up with the most popular titles for kids. Prizes and rewards can be earned for participation and also winning our special skill-based tournaments and leagues. All gamer skill levels are welcome!

Our classes combine a great aerobic workout with practical self-defense, all while sharing the rich cultural history Tae Kwon Do has to offer. As part of the American Chung Do Kwan Tae Kwon Do Association, we have a strong focus on proper technique and ensuring our students earn each rank they obtain. Our Nationally certified instructors include 5th degree Jr. Masters Taylor Pederson & Jenny Doan and 4th degree Jr. Master Travis Ott. This course is for participants of all skill levels. Beginners should wear loose-fitting clothes (no jeans) to class. Max: 15. *Please note that in the summer we don’t have separate orientation for session 1. Joining the club gains players access to organized community play to choose to participate in structured leagues and tournaments or social ladder and play activities. Players aged 7+ will participate from home and engage safely in club activity through the Safe Harbor-certified platform GYO Score. Available games frequently rotate to keep up with the most popular titles for kids. Prizes and rewards can be earned for participation and also winning our special skill-based tournaments and leagues. All gamer skill levels are welcome!

    Our famous Summer Discovery Playground program is back with another summer of great activities. We’ve got tons of fun activities for everyone, including games, arts and crafts, special events, snacks, and more! This program is designed for kids ages 4-12 (children must turn 4 by the start of the program). In case of inclement weather, call the Weather Hotline at 952.227.1411. Rain-out days will not be made up. No playground the afternoon of Friday, July 2. The registration deadline for all Summer Discovery Playground dates is: Monday, June 7. ATTENTION: Resident registration starts Monday, March 1 at 9am.     Neuroscientists recommend playing Mah Jongg (a complex thinking game) to improve memory. Psychologists deem it's low-cost therapy; players call it fun! A tile-based, 4-player game created for the ruling class during the time of Confucius in China, Mah Jongg has now spread worldwide. The object of the game is to collect winning sets of tiles. The tiles have characters and numbers, and the rules are intriguing. Instructor Melinda Colwell teaches the modernized and westernized version in this 6-week class. NOTE: Each participants will be required to have their own Mah Jongg set (borrow a friend's or buy your own; the Senior Center can also assist in ordering a set for you).
